Consignment Terms

These terms apply when you sell a pair through Vecno (“consignment”). By sending us your request and your pair, you agree to them.

1. What we accept

• Authentic sneakers only, new or used, in the condition you describe.
• Vecno may decline any pair, for any reason, before it is received.

2. Fees

• 10% selling fee for pairs bought from Vecno (we verify this against your order).
• 20% selling fee for pairs bought anywhere else.
• The fee is charged only when your pair sells. There are no listing or storage fees.
• If the buyer pays with KOKO or Mint, their 12% transaction fee is deducted from the sale price first, and our fee is calculated on the remaining amount.

3. Price

• We agree a listing price with you before your pair goes on display.
• You can ask to change the price at any time before it sells. We may suggest a price review if a pair hasn’t sold after 30 days, but we will never lower your price without your approval.

4. Sending your pair

• Drop-off: Vecno Store, 254 Thalawathugoda Rd, Kotte. Bring your NIC; we check the pair with you at the counter.
• Courier: VECNO Fulfilment Centre, 490/5, Palendagoda Rd, Panagoda, Homagama (+94 70 453 5825). Courier costs to us are paid by you. Include your Consignment Note inside the box and use the shipping label from your seller portal.

5. Authentication and condition

• Every pair is inspected by our team before it is listed. This usually takes 1–3 working days.
• If a pair does not pass authentication, we will not list it and no fee is charged. You can collect it free of charge from our store, or we can courier it back at your cost.
• If the pair’s condition does not match your description, we will agree a new price with you or return the pair.

6. Consignment period

• Pairs are listed for 60 days. Before the period ends we’ll contact you to renew, reprice or collect.

7. Taking your pair back

• You can take your pair back at any time before it sells, free of charge, by collecting it from our store. Courier returns are at your cost.
• Pairs that are not collected within 30 days of us contacting you may be subject to a storage arrangement agreed with you.

8. Care while we hold your pair

• We store and display your pair with reasonable care. If a pair is lost or damaged while in Vecno’s custody, we will compensate you with the payout amount you would have received at the agreed listing price.

9. Sale and payout

• We tell you as soon as your pair sells.
• Your payout is made within 7–10 bank working days after the sale, to a bank account in your own name.
• If a sale is cancelled or returned before payout, the pair goes back on display and no payout is due for that sale.
• You can view your payout statement in your seller portal.

10. Listing and photos

• We photograph and list your pair on vecno.lk, display it in store, and may feature it in our marketing.

11. Changes

• We may update these terms. The terms in force on the day you hand over your pair apply to that consignment.
